Make One or Several for a Cheerful Project!

Often, the first flowers in the garden to bloom every spring are daffodils. Once these cheerful flowers appear, we know spring is here (or nearly so!).

Welcome spring by making something special with this beautiful daffodil block. It can be used in many types of projects and will brighten even the grayest spring days.

Daffodil Quilt Block Pattern

Create a classic yellow bloom or play with other colors. White and salmon against a darker background come to mind instantly.

The block is created using foundation paper piecing. You’ll find excellent FPP instructions here

Designer Gaby Sartori from Tomte Studio provides instructions for a 9” x 12” finished quilt block.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
