Two styles of cute bunnies adorn this charming Easter wall hanging (which will also be fun on a nursery wall). Soft green batiks add texture for beautiful results.
Notice how darker colors allow the center bunny to stand out. Light batiks create lost-and-found edges on the small corner bunnies, allowing them to blend into the background. Be mindful of values as you’re selecting your fabrics.
The quilt is constructed with simple piecing, while the bunnies are fusible appliqué. The central bunny can be pieced from scraps or made from one piece of fabric.
One of the small bunnies will make a charming mug rug to enjoy all year. The bunnies can also be used in other projects.
