It’s Perfect for Warm Weather!
Decorate for summer with this charming little quilt. The pieced watermelon is framed with fabric squares for a delightful table or wall quilt to enjoy every year.
A red fat quarter, a green fat eighth, and a black layer cake square are used to make the watermelon. However, you can cut fabric from yardage or large leftovers.
Mini 2 1/2″ charm squares are combined for the pieced border. You can also use scraps left from other projects. This is a great project for shopping your stash.
The finished quilt, designed by Lindsey Weight from Primrose Cottage Quilts, measures 24″ x 20″.
