Choose Your Favorite Fabrics for a Lovely Year Around Display!

This festive basket will be lovely on your table for the holidays or any time of the year. Fill it with fresh apples or pears, or stitch up some stuffed pears to display all year around. Of course, this basket can also be used for storage and containing clutter. It will be a charming touch just about anywhere in your home.

Choose holiday fabrics or colors for any season. Your favorite fabrics will make a charming basket to fill and display however you wish. The half-square triangles add a beautiful decorative touch without making this fussy to stitch together. The handle can be left off, if you prefer, for a cleaner look.

The pattern, by Dodi Lee Poulsen from her book Fresh Picked for All Seasons, includes patterns for two sizes of stuffed pears.

Basket dimensions are not specified but you can see from the photo that it will hold a good number of pears.
