This Refreshing Quilt Will Be Lovely In Any Color!

Variations of turquoise create a soothing and refreshing quilt. Batiks give it depth while allowing the overall design to predominate. Mottled and other low-contrast prints will work just as well with this pattern.

This easy quilt will be gorgeous in other colors as well. Get the full impact by staying with a monochromatic color scheme, choosing variations of one color. Can’t you imagine it in red or purple? Add a few prints that read as slightly off color to give it variety and interest, such as the prints with green and navy in this predominantly turquoise version.

Grandma's Victory Quilt

This pattern will also be lovely made up with scraps. Imagine giving it a 1930s reproduction look by choosing a variety of small-scale middle-value prints.

While being easy enough for beginning quilters, those with several quilts under their belts will appreciate how quickly this stitches together.

The finished quilt is 63″ x 79″.
