This Sweet Tree Brims with Good Cheer
September 25, 2016 | Christmas Quilts
| Choose From Three Wallhanging Sizes!
Clever placement of squares and half-square triangles stitch up into an eye-catching quilt for display during the holidays. A sweet Christmas tree, garland and topping star included, is formed by simple color placement.
Use traditional green, red and gold, as shown in the example here, or mix it up by using whatever colors match your holiday decor.
The pattern, from landauerpub.com, originally appeared in 2 Piece Patchwork by Sandy Petsche
The finished wallhanging, made of 2 1/2″ squares, is 24″ x 25 1/2″.
Instructions are also included for a miniature version, measuring 16″ x 17″, and a larger one that is 32″ x 34″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!

I am ridiculously happy–saw this pop up on my Facebook page yesterday and didn’t bookmark it at the time. Spent an hour trying to find it again. THANK you for the Random Act of Advertising that happened!
