Quickly Stitch up Baskets in Your Favorite Colors for a Stunning Quilt!

Easy basket blocks in a variety of colors make a striking quilt. A beautiful border ties all the blocks together. Small-scale subtle prints against a neutral background allow the baskets to shine.

Clever construction means this an easy quilt to make. Many basket block patterns require that the basket handles be appliqued. Not so with this pattern. The handles are pieced into the easy blocks.

Set the blocks on point, add borders, and you’re ready to layer and quilt.

Select a beautiful border fabric then dig into your stash for a variety of coordinating fat quarters for the baskets. You can also purchase fat quarters from a favorite fabric line. Just be sure they’re similar in value so none of the baskets predominate (too dark or bright) or meld into the background (too light).
