Make a Creative Wall Hanging from a Fabric Panel

Fabric panels can be wonderful time savers when you need quilt in a hurry, and there are many beautiful ones to choose from. However, we often wonder how to use them creatively. While we may love the printed panel’s design, a quilt made from a panel may not seem like “ours” unless we do something special with it.

Panels that have motifs in squares of various sizes often offer great opportunities for creativity. The following example is one way to give such a panel your own creative touch.

Sadly, we could not find any info about this wall hanging but it won’t be hard to create something similar without detailed instructions. Simply cut the panel sections apart, layer them, then quilt and bind them.

Arrange the resulting mini quilts in an appealing configuration and stitch the edges together where they meet. Find an interesting stick, rod or branch to hang your creation from.
