A Classic Runner for Your Holiday Table

So Easy You’ll Want To Make More Than One!
Traditional stars in rich red and green make a beautiful table runner for the holidays. It’s easy to imagine this little quilt in autumn colors, too, as well an in 1930s reproduction scraps. Or, choose fabrics that match your decor.
This is an easy project to stitch up so go ahead and make more than one to switch out as the seasons change. It will also make a lovely gift for just about any occasion.
Simple piecing of fabric squares and half-square triangles make this a quick and easy project. Quilt it as simply or extravagantly as you wish.
The pattern, by Patrick Lose, makes a runner that’s 16″ x 64″. It won’t be hard at all to make it shorter if you’re so inclined.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
