A Close Range of Colors Make a Stunning Quilt

Showcase Beautiful Fabric in This Refreshing Quilt!
One repeated block and closely matched fabrics make a gorgeously serene quilt. The fabrics in the primary color are deliberately low contrast yet make a compelling whole.
The designer, Janet Jo Smith, used hand-dyed fabric for her version. If you don’t have access to hand-dyed fabrics, mottled fabrics such as batiks will be just as beautiful.
Select fabrics in your favorite color for the bulk of the quilt and set them off with a neutral. While we love the look with the fabrics kept low in contrast, you can increase the value or color range for another take on this lovely quilt.
The finished quilt is 82″ x 82″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
