A Cozy Quilt for When Weather Turns Crisp
October 18, 2016 | Autumn Quilts, Quilt Ideas
| Enjoy This Quilt Every Autumn for Years to Come, or All Year Long!
This throw quilt with its rich colors bring to mind pumpkins, turning leaves and everything autumn. It will be a wonderful addition to just about any room of the house.
The deceptively simple pattern is easy to stitch together, yet results in an elegant quilt you’ll use year after year. Keep it within reach of your favorite chair or fold it over the back of the sofa to complement your autumn decor.
We can easily imagine this striking design in other color combinations, as well. It will be stunning in Christmas colors, 1930s reproduction prints and just about any colorway.
The pattern, by designer Anita Peluso, produces a quilt that is 56″ x 66″ once completed.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!

I love all the quilts you have posted here lately and I appreciate the fact that the designers should be able to make money on their designs and I wouldn’t deny them that. It would be nice, though, if once a week or so you would post a free pattern for those of us that can’t afford to buy the patterns all the time.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Rhandi. We make a point of including at least one free pattern every day. Some days there are several. It all depends on what we find to share at the time we’re posting. Watch for the Facebook posts that indicate free patterns.
