A Fun Project for Your Quilting or Sewing Group!

This sweet little tree is perfect for your sewing room, or for display anywhere in your home. Those who see it will be charmed by your creativity and instantly understand where your passions lie.

We especially love the pincushion star and the colorful spools of thread!

Designed by Jonathan Fong and found on Craft Attitude (article no longer available) this little tree is so wonderful that we can see leaving it up all year around.

Sewing Themed Christmas Tree

This miniature Christmas tree is very easy to replicate. If you don’t have the exact items on hand, be creative and use whatever extra sewing supplies you do have. Make it colorful and whatever you use will be perfectly charming.

The following video shows how the tree was crafted.

This would be a fun project for your quilting or sewing group around the holidays. It’s also a lovely gift for your quilting and sewing friends.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
