Accent Your Table with a Festive Fall Runner
Make It Up In Your Preferred Fall Hues!
Vivid colors bring to mind the hues of peak color on a sunny autumn afternoon. This eye-catching runner will create a beautiful focal point for your table all through the season.
It’s an easy one to make, too. All of the shapes, and even the scalloped binding, are applied with fusible web.
Once everything is in place, free-motion quilt everything down. If free motion quilting isn’t your thing, finish the runner up the traditional way with blind hem or satin stitching around the leaves and a standard binding.
The pattern, from Heidi Lund for We All Sew, is 18.5″ wide by 34″, although you can make it whatever size you prefer. Simple cut the top and backing to the correct size and create enough leaves to fill in the space.
You’ll also need the leaves cutting template found here.
