Instruction Are Included for a Matching Pillow!
Bed runners are a wonderful way to change the look of a room without having to make full quilts. Drape a runner across the end of the bed, on top of the bedspread, and notice how the whole room changes.
A runner can add just the right touch of color. Plus, since they’re small and fairly quick to make (and easy to store), you can have several to switch out for various seasons or when the mood hits for something different.
This beautiful runner, from Val Laird Designs, can be easily made into a larger quilt, if you’re so inclined. Simply add more blocks to achieve the size you want. Or, delete a block or two for a striking table runner.
The colors chosen by the designer are stunning. However, the runner will be just as lovely in your favorite colors.
The pattern includes instructions for:
- Bed Runner – 19″ x 77″
- Pillow – 16 1/2″ square
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
