Choose Colors You Love to Make it Your Own!
The Virginia Reel block is a classic, and creates stunning quilts. This version is especially striking with its mulberry and tan coloring.
Of course, it will be lovely in other color combinations as well. Just be sure to select both light and dark fabrics to show off the striking design.
Value plays a big part in this pattern. Light against dark creates the interlocking swirls. A big value contrast will create a very striking quilt, while a smaller contrast can be soft and lovely while still letting the overall design come through.
Choose a beautiful combination of fat quarts and enjoy how quickly the quilt goes together. It’s an easy project and one you’ll be happy to add to your repertoire.
