A Beautiful Quilt for Showcasing a Special Print!

A gorgeous border fabric provided the color inspiration for this lovely quilt. Notice how colors from the large floral print were matched in the prints used in the blocks. The result is a beautifully coordinated quilt.

You can achieve something similar by selecting a wonderful fabric to draw colors from. Or, create your own color combination for a quilt that is uniquely yours.

We love the colors the designer selected for the following version and wish we could see the finished quilt!

Values are important, too, for developing the overall design. Be sure to keep that in mind while selecting fabric.

Simple piecing will pull this quilt together fairly quickly. While the overall pattern looks complex, it breaks down into easy units.
