Sometimes Simple is Best!
This fun quilt is so simple and yet so charming. It’s made from large triangles that really show off the fabrics. The bold colors are wonderful and perfect for a baby or toddler. Other colors will be just as lovely, so have fun deciding what “flavor” you’ll give your version.
The instructions, from Sarah Jane of Sarah Jane Studio and Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter, suggest making a triangle template or using a ruler. It will be quickest to use a 60 degree ruler, such as the Quilt In A Day 60 Degree Equilateral Triangle Ruler. You can purchase that here.
The finished size is not given but it’s large enough for a toddler bed or for use as a throw quilt. Of course, you can easily increase the size by adding more triangles.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
