Butterflies Make This Log Cabin Quilt Special
Have Fun Making it in Your Favorite Colors!
Pretty butterflies turn Log Cabin blocks into a special quilt with this lovely pattern. The blue and white color combination is spiced up with a bit of aqua while retaining its serene appeal.
Other color combinations will be wonderful in this quilt, as well. We can easily imagine it as a scrappy quilt, too, made with either modern or retro fabrics.
We can also imagine four blocks and one butterfly as a lovely table topper. It will measure about 24″ x 24″.
The finished quilt, designed by Denise Russell is 76″ x 76″.
This is an easy project, even for confident beginners. Simple Log Cabin blocks and fusible applique make it a relatively quick project.
You’ll find the “Natural Elegance” quilt pattern in Log Cabin Variations along with 8 other lovely quilts.
