This beautiful bluebird block is so charming you’ll want to use it in more than one project. Finish one as a mini quilt or combine several for larger quilts.
Bright, summery fabrics in blue and red are perfect for this block. Or change the colors and create other types of birds, as well as birds for any season.
The block is created with standard piecing. No paper piecing is involved.

Instructions are provided for blocks in two sizes, 6″ and 12″ square. The designer, Nadra Ridgeway from Ellis & Higgs, included instructions in both German and English.
