Use Charm Packs to Give This Table Runner a Scrappy Look!

We love patterns that inspire us to experiment with fabrics and see how many “looks” can be achieved. This table runner is a fun pattern for charm packs because that’s an inexpensive way to play with colors and fabric designs.

This pattern can take on so many different looks, depending on the fabrics used. Bright, subdued, large scale, small scale – just about any fabric combo would look great sewn up in this pattern.

Contemporary Table Runner

We love a scrappy look, but coordinated colors, seasonal fabrics, batiks and more would be equally lovely for this table runner. You may find yourself needing to make more than one!

We also love the pieced binding. What a great idea for accenting the bright fabrics.

The finished runner will be about 64″ in length by 16″ wide. Make it shorter by omitting a star block, or two.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
