Choose a Wide Variety of Prints for This Easy Quilt
Ingenious Construction Saves Time and Fabric!
Vintage-style fabrics are so lovely in this charming quilt. Colorful small-scale prints accented with yellow give the quilt a very inviting personality. A wide variety of 1/8th yard cuts provide the warm scrappy look.
Change the quilt’s personality by changing the accent color. Or consider other print styles. Batiks would be wonderful, as would larger modern prints.
This is a super easy quilt to make, and with little waste. While creating the main blocks you’ll also be making half-square triangles for the sawtooth border. Nice!
The finished quilt, designed by Barbara Groves and Mary Jacobson from Me & My Sister Designs, is 68 1/2″ x 68 1/2″.
You’ll find the pattern for the “Star Search” quilt in Big Block Quilts.
