Richly colored stars and patchwork borders create a striking quilt. The pieced borders add interest while blending beautifully into an eye-catching design.
Colorful low-volume prints work beautifully in this quilt. Play with color combinations to create your own beautiful version.
There are so many pleasing color palettes, both vivid and subdued, that work well with this quilt. We just had to play in Photoshop a bit to see some of the possibilities.
While the quilt looks complex, it’s fairly simple to make. It’s all done with standard piecing.
The finished quilt, designed by Emily Dyer from Glad Creations, is 60” x 66”.
