Batiks Add Artistic Flair!

An intricate design and inspired color choices produce a beautiful quilt you’ll be glad to call your own. Smaller-scale batiks produce gradations of color within the pieces, softening the design and adding texture to the quilt.

The design was inspired by vintage architectural ironwork. While it looks complex, it’s actually made up of squares and half-square triangles along with some stitch-and-flipĀ pieces. None of it is difficult, but take your time and make sure the points all line up nicely.

Rosette Quilt Pattern

A variegated quilting thread works beautifully with the design and colors. It’s a lovely finishing touch.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
