Create a Charming Baby or Table Quilt from Strips

It’s a Simple Project That Sews Up Quickly!
One giant modified Log Cabin block makes a charming baby quilt. It will also be lovely brightening a table.
Choose a favorite color or mix things up and use more than one. Sunny yellow mixed with black and white is pretty for spring and summer, or go with another hue to blend with the neutrals.
What sets this design apart is that the block is not divided into a light and dark side as is typical for Log Cabin blocks. Instead, the values are mixed together throughout the quilt.
Refer to the cutting instructions and layout chart to guide construction. Follow the photo for color placement and sew the quilt together using a 1/4″ seam.
The completed quilt from Joann is 48″x 48″. The size can be easily changed by adjusting the number of rings of strips.
