The modern design is stunning in solid colors. Soften it by using small-scale prints.
Paper piecing is used for the smaller parts for accuracy, and standard piecing for the rest. However, it all can be done with standard piecing if you prefer. Just add 1/4″ seam allowances to the templates.
The finished quilt, from Freshly Pieced, is 20″ x 25″.
