Decorate Your Home with Small Quilts and Give Others as Gifts!
Enjoy your Christmas sewing with this wonderful collection of quilt projects. While there are several beautiful quilts, runners, and table toppers, the small, fast projects really caught our eye. All are delightful and easy to make.
For example, these cute reindeer coasters will provide a touch of whimsy to your Christmas decor. Fusible applique makes them quick, they’re a great use of scraps, and they make thoughtful gifts. The coasters, designed by Chris Malone are 5″ square.
There’s no place like home for the holidays, as these beautiful pocket placemats remind us. The cool, soothing colors will be delightful on your table all winter long, not just for Christmas. Or make them up in colors you’ll enjoy any time of the year. Designed by Roni Hickey, the placemats are 19″ x 15″.
This jolly Santa potholder will brighten any kitchen and will be fun in sets of two. They go together quickly so be sure to make extras for gifts. Designed by Chris Malone, each potholder is 8″ in diameter.
A stack of cute snowmen creates a whimsical quilt that is sure to make everyone smile. Hang it on a door or a skinny wall well into winter. The completed wall hanging, designed by Chris Malone, is 6″ x 40 1/2″.
If you love snowmen you’ll also enjoy the dancing snowmen in this fun wall hanging. The same pattern pieces are creatively rearranged to give each one its own personality. Hang the quilt above the mantel or a buffet, or even use it as a table runner. Also designed by Chris Malone, the finished wall hanging is 48″ x 13″.
Finally, this beautiful poinsettia is sure to make an impact however you choose to display it. A variety of red prints give life to the traditional design (scraps are great!). Hang the quilt on a wall or display it on a table for a beautiful Christmas accent. Designed by Connie Kauffman, the completed quilt is 40″ x 40″.
There are many other great projects in this collection, many of which we’d love to make ourselves. There are cute wine bottle gift bags, sweet candy cane placemats, and several festive quilts. Be sure to check them all out at the following link.
