Scraps Work Nicely Too!
The popular Rail Fence block has been put to beautiful use in these charming bags. Any color theme is great in the bags and you’ll love how simple they are to make.
They’re generously sized to hold whatever your day requires. Use them for quilting bags and much more. They also make wonderful gifts.
A charm pack of 5″ squares and one additional fabric is required for a bag. You can also use scraps cut into 1 1/4″ strips.

Bag by Rebekah Rubingh.
Bag by Wendy Puckett who used slightly larger 1 1/2″ honeybun strips.
Each bag is fully lined, has a large pocket, and has a small cell phone pocket. They’re nice basic bags that are quick and easy to make.
The completed bags, designed by Sue Pfau from Sweet Jane, are 13 1/2 ” tall x 17″ wide x 6″ deep.
