Create a Runner and More from Simple Blocks
It’s Great in Any Color Combo!
This eye-catching runner is simple to make and wonderful in any color combination. It goes together quickly using 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips.
Plus, the blocks can be configured many different ways. Create a runner, a table or wall quilt, or even a larger lap quilt.
Watch as Kimberly from the Fat Quarter Shop demonstrates how to make the blocks used in the runner. She starts out by showing several different ways the blocks can be combined.
The video is in the format of a livestream created for National Jelly Roll Day. The segment featuring the runner is early in the video. View it and learn more about this project at the link below.
The finished runner is 14 ½” x 56 ½”.
Kimberly used 7″ Half Square Triangle Paper Triangles on a Roll (found here). This makes the stitching go quickly with very accurate results. However, you may have a different method that works nicely for you.
