Large-Scale Prints Work Beautifully in this Design!
This dramatic quilt is a wonderful project for featuring a special print. Large-scale prints are right at home in the eye-catching design.
The overall design can include four stars or five, depending on how you arrange the blocks. Choose one fabric to feature and choose coordinating prints to flesh out the design, or use several feature fabrics.
There are many ways to vary the design. For example, fussy-cut squares put even more emphasis on the featured fabric.
The quilt, initially designed by Fran Williams and modified by Jenny Bowker, measures 85″ square. A smaller version is 56″ square.
