Classic blue and white quilts have timeless appeal, and this one is a beautiful example. The eye-catching design will also look lovely in red and white, as well as other color themes, so keep that in mind as you plan your version.
While the medium and dark blues used in the blocks would pop more against white or another neutral, we love the low-volume blue and white background prints. They contribute an endearing vintage look to this classic quilt.
Dig into your scraps and stash for a coordinated scrappy look. The star points and border are foundation paper-pieced for precision, making the quilt doable for quilters of most skill levels. However, standard piecing can also be used.
