Choose Between 6 Block Sizes!
This beautiful block will add a touch of frosty charm to your winter quilt projects. It captures the delicate geometry of snowflakes and will be beautiful in holiday decor, pillows, bags, and quilts of any size.
While icy blues are beautiful, the block will be just as lovely in Christmas red and modern neutrals. We can also imagine it in lovely lavenders for another wintry look.
Foundation paper piecing is used to create the block. You’ll love the precise results and can find excellent FPP instructions to get you started here.
The designers at Pattern by Kia provide instructions for 6 block sizes:
- 4″ x 4″ finished → 4½” x 4½” unfinished
- 5″ x 5″ finished → 5½” x 5½” unfinished
- 6″ x 6″ finished → 6½” x 6½” unfinished
- 8″ x 8″ finished → 8½” x 8½” unfinished
- 10″ x 10″ finished → 10½” x 10½” unfinished
- 12″ x 12″ finished → 12½” x 12½” unfinished
