Play with Colors and Values to Make It Your Own!
This striking block will be beautiful in your favorite colors. It provides many design options depending on color and value placements.
Choose between several block sizes for your next project. Combine four blocks (2 x 2) for potholders, a table quilt, the sides of a tote bag, and more. Or use several blocks for a larger quilt.
Watch what happens when several blocks are combined. Imagine how the design will change as you adjust the emphasis by playing with the placement of value and color contrasts.
For example, the center diamond could become more prominent. Or alter the dark-to-light arrangement of the “logs” within each block to create an interesting secondary design. This is a fun block to play with.
