Crisp White Snowflakes Star in This Frosty Quilt
It’s Great for Cuddling All Winter Long!
Three big snowflakes against a field of blue make this beautiful quilt a perfect one to enjoy every winter. A pieced border frames the quilt nicely and makes it seem even more frosty.
Whether you like being in the snow or not, the quilt will keep you warm and cozy while it’s cold outside. It’s nicely sized for a throw and will be lovely draped across the sofa or your favorite chair.
The snowflake blocks are paper pieced, while the rest of the quilt is standard piecing. A stitch-and-flip technique is used for the borders.
One of the 12″ snowflake blocks will be lovely in a matching throw pillow. Frame it with a border of simple piecing, using the same fabrics as the quilt.
Sandy Carreon demonstrates how the quilt is made here.
