Embellish the Center However You Want!

This charming little quilt is so much fun because it’s highly adaptable. Make up the original version (shown in blue) for a lovely wall quilt or table centerpiece. The simple center makes it work nicely with a vase or plant.

The center square is also a great place to showcase a favorite print. Or embellish it with a square from a fabric panel, an appliqued design, an embroidered piece from a vintage linen, and more.

You can also showcase a mini block there, as was done with the rainbow version. Or consider adding applique motifs in both the center and the border, as was done with the holly leaves in the Christmas quilt.

Instructions are provided by the designer, Amy from Ameroonie Designs, for the original quilt and both the Christmas and Rainbow versions. The finished quilt is approximately 24″ square.
