Play With Colors And Fabric Styles to Make It Your Own!
Dive into your scraps for a striking quilt that is sure to impress. In the following example, colorful prints shine against a scrappy background of deep blue. Together they create an eye-catching design.
Other backgrounds will also work well. Consider black or light, medium or dark gray. Or go with a color. Aqua would give the quilt a charming 30’s vibe.
Solids work nicely too, instead of the colorful prints. The quilt is so easy to make that you may find yourself making more than one so you can try different color themes and fabric styles.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Emily Bailey from Aunt Em’s Place, for the following quilt sizes:
- Baby – 48″ square (great for a table too)
- Throw quilt – 62″ x 62″
- Full size – 80″ x 90″
- Queen size – 96″ x 100″
