It’s Great in Colors for Any Season!
Pretty stars dance across the surface of this festive runner. Log Cabin blocks round out the design while a wide variety of prints adds texture and interest.
Both blocks are simple to make. Start with a charm pack of 5″ squares in colors you love.
While the runner was designed for Christmas, it will be wonderful in prints for other seasons. For example, it’s easy to imagine a patriotic version in red, white and blue, as well as deep autumn colors against a dark background.
The finished runner, designed by Taunja Kelvington from Carried Away Quilting, is 40” x 20”.
