They’re Beautiful in Colors for Any Season or Event!
Choose five 5″ squares from your stash for a beautiful fabric star ornament. It’s lovely in any pleasing color combination and a great use of leftover charm squares.
The squares are folded and interlocked to form the star. A bit of machine stitching holds them together and freezer paper gives them structure.

Rick rack is used for the hanger, although any cord or ribbon will do. Add a button to the center for a pretty finish.
The size of the ornament, from Zen Crafting, is not specified. But it appears to be perfect for a tree or for decorating gifts.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article).
