Enjoy the Color Transitions in This Inviting Quilt

It’s a Fun Project for Playing with Color!
Muted warm and cool hues create a beautiful quilt you can enjoy any time of the year. This is a fun quilt to make because you can easily alter its personality by your color choices and their placements within the quilt.
Start with fat quarters in a wide array of colors and print styles to give the quilt a scrappy look. You can also use scraps from your stash to make the quilt uniquely yours.
We love how the color temperature transitions from corner to corner (warm to cool to barely warm). However, you can arrange yours however you want.
The completed throw quilt designed by Melissa Corey for American Patchwork & Quilting measures 60 1⁄2″ × 72 1⁄2″. Cutting instructions are also provided for:
- 36 1/2″ square Mini quilt
- 48 1/2″ square Baby quilt
- 72 1/2 × 96 1/2″ Twin quilt
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
