The Quilt Has Many Other Uses, Too!
This festive little quilt was designed as a casserole hot pad, but it has so many other uses. Hang it on a door or wall for a patriotic pop of color, display it on a table, or make enough for a set of placemats.
The quilt is simple to make with easy piecing and fusible appliqué stars. Consequently, it’s doable by quilters of most skill levels.
Dig through your scrap collection and pull out a nice combination of blues, reds, and whites. Notice how the low-volume whites add an extra bit of charm.
The completed quilt, designed by Eilene Johnson from Simply Eilene, measures 13″ x 18 1/2″.
