Fabric Pinwheels Are Perfect for the 4th

They’ll Be Lovely in Pastels for Spring Decor, Too!
Dig out your most festive red and blue fabrics with white and quickly create fun fabric pinwheels. Display them on dowels, as shown here, or hang them throughout the house. They’ll last longer than paper pinwheels and are prettier, too.
The pinwheels are super easy to make. HeatnBond UltraHold gives them structure while thin wire threaded through buttons hold the pinwheels together and mount them to dowels. Omit the dowels and add hanging loops made from cord to turn them into ornaments.
A pattern is provided for two sizes of pinwheels, from Jessica Anderson for She Knows. However, once you see how they’re made you can easily adjust the size.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
