Colorful prints in rainbow hues are simply lovely in this baby quilt. The quilt can be hung on a wall or used as a table topper, too, as the design lends itself well to being displayed.
The designer chose prints from a coordinated fabric line, however feel free to mix and match your own. Notice how each print is mixed only with white, giving the quilt a distinct look and feel.
Careful placement of half-square triangles causes the star to appear in the center. The value contrasts are important, so keep that in mind when selecting your fabrics. Notice also that the quilt is balanced between warm (red) and cool (blue) quadrants.
The finished quilt, designed by Kirsty from Bonjour Quilts, is 36 1/5″ x 36 1/5″.
