They Can be Used as Trivets, Too!
Turn Bear Paw blocks into festive Thanksgiving pot holders with this charming pattern. Easy piecing and fusible applique make them go together quickly, just in time for helping out in the kitchen on the big day.
Make up a set in traditional colors or have fun choosing an artistic color theme. Either way these handsome guys will brighten your kitchen for the big holiday.
Be sure to add a layer or two of Insul-Bright batting for heat proofing. Two layers may be needed if you plan to use them as trivets for hot dishes.
The “Turkey Day” pot holders, designed by Chris Malone, are 8″ x 8″ without the hanging loops.
