Flying Geese Create a Warm and Cozy Quilt

A Great Project for Scraps!
Flying Geese units are given a twist in this intriguing quilt. Careful color and value placement creates stars that dance and shimmer. Each block is a bit different, adding to the quilt’s scrappy appeal.
The cozy homespun look is achieved with a wide variety of fabrics in rustic colors (Civil War reproduction prints are perfect). Brighter modern fabrics will be lovely too, giving the quilt a different personality that’s just as appealing.
While it looks complex, the quilt is quite simple to make. The “No-waste-No-hassle” Flying Geese formula speeds construction.
Instructions are provided for quilts in five sizes:
- Wall: 56″ x 56″
- Throw: 56″ x 71″
- Twin: 71″ x 86″
- Queen: 86″ x 101″
- King: 101″ x 101″
