While you’re waiting for the perfect quilt project for those special fabrics, put swatches in frames and enjoy them every day. This is a quick and easy project that you’ll have done and on display before you know it.
Sachiko from Tea Rose Home has written a tutorial showing how to frame fabric. She found pretty frames at the dollar store and went from there.
She taped the fabric to cardboard so it can easily be removed from the frames in the future and left off the glass. Glass will keep the fabric dust-free but also can have a distracting glare.
Julie from HGTV Handmade has created an excellent video showing how to frame fabric. She goes on to show her method for hanging the framed pieces so they are perfectly aligned on a gallery wall. These tips will help with whatever you want to hang.
