Gather All of Your Blue Fabrics in One Special Quilt
A Beautiful Quilt for Your Wall or Table!
Square patches, stars and flying geese units create a sensational quilt with this pattern. While the design is simple, the wide assortment of fabrics give it tremendous appeal.
The designer challenged herself to use black and white plus one color, in this case blue. She used 81 different blues and 45 black and white fabrics.
If you don’t have that much variety in your stash, don’t despair. Use as many fabrics as you can, spreading them throughout the quilt to achieve a scrappy look.
Other colors will be just as lovely. Stay with the theme and mix a color with black and white, such as red. Or, consider another theme, like Christmas, autumn or spring fabrics.
The finished quilt, from designer Tina Curran, is 48″ square. While it was meant as a wall quilt, it will be lovely on your table or in use as a lap or baby quilt.
