Easily Adapt the Heart Block into a Table Runner!
Beautiful prints and pale pink solids combine in these charming heart placemats. Make them for yourself or for a special someone. A set would be a lovely wedding or bridal shower gift, too.
This is a super simple pattern to stitch up. Careful fabric placement makes the heart emerge from square blocks.
The free placemat instructions, by designer Diane Nagle, are for four placemats. Each placemat is 17 5/8″ x 12 5/8″.
It won’t be hard to adapt the pattern into a beautiful table runner.
However, there is a pattern available if you want exact instructions for a 22 1/2˝ x 54˝ runner.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
