Tidy up your work area and keep things organized with this charming quilt-as-you-go basket set. Choose between the large or small baskets or make them both.
Start with leftover 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips or other strips from your stash. Add pretty contrasting prints for the linings that fold over to form cuffs. Buttons are charming finishing touches.
Both baskets are simple to make even for beginning quilters. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself making extras, either to use or to give.
The finished baskets, designed by Chris Malone are:
- Large Basket – 6″ x 9″ x 6″
- Small Basket – 3″ x 3″ x 3″
