Kittens Make These Ornaments Extra Cute
Make Some for Yourself and Others to Give!
Kittens peeking out of the top of Christmas stockings are so cute and fun on your tree. The ornaments can also be tucked into wreaths, displayed in a centerpiece, and hung from a line to form a garland for the fireplace. They also make great gifts for cat lovers and are perfect to commemorate a kitten’s first Christmas.
The mittens can be made from squares of quilted patchwork, pieces cut from a tattered old quilt, or single pieces of fabric. Cuffs are made from contrasting fabric, lace, or cotton batting.
Create the stuffed kitten faces with fabric markers, paint, or embroidery. Tuck a bit of Excelsior, Spanish moss, or even Easter grass around the kittens to finish off the ornaments.
Whether you make one or several, the ornaments are fun projects you can customize and embellish however you want.
They were designed by Cyndy Fahey and are about 6.5″ tall x 3.5″ wide.
