Clean Lines Produce a Beautiful Bag!

This pretty bag is a lovely accessory as well as a handy way to carry things you’ll need throughout the day. A large patchwork pocket is not only useful but a beautiful way to showcase a favorite combination of prints (whether new or from scraps).

Linen is used for the body of the bag, although a cotton solid or print will work nicely too. The soft colors used in the example make the bag perfect for spring and summer, however, it will be just as charming in deeper colors and prints for any season.

The bag designed by Charise from Charise Creates is nicely sized at 12″ x 12″ and has a button loop at the top to keep the contents secure. A long strap allows the bag to be carried cross-body but you can shorten it if you prefer.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
