Make a Pretty Autumn Table Quilt in Fall Colors
Matching Pumpkins and a Pillow Complete the Set!
Get ready for fall with a pretty table quilt in your favorite autumn colors. It’s a fun project you’ll love to display every year.
Instructions are also available for the cute fabric pumpkins. Make them up to match the table topper or in any colors you prefer.
Easy piecing is used to form the quilt. The charming leaves are fusible applique while contrasting thread is used for quilting the swirls around them.
Do you prefer more traditional fall colors? We played in Photoshop a bit to show you how that might look.
The leaf and acorn shapes can be printed on the fusible web using Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite Fusible Adhesive. Make quick work of layering up the quilt with Spray n Bond Basting Spray.
The completed quilt, designed by Amy Chappell for Thermoweb, is 20″ x 20″.
You’ll also need the leaf and acorn applique templates found here.
Amy also provides instructions for two sizes of fabric pumpkins with two stem options (completed sizes not provided). They’re fun to make and even more fun to display. Tuck them here and there around the house, group them in a centerpiece or even attach the smaller size to a wreath.
If you’d like more sizes she has a pattern available to purchase for pumpkins in five sizes, from 3 1/2″ to 6 1/2″ tall (including stems) that can be found here.
You’ll also need the printable cutting templates found here.
Finally, instructions are also available for the cute “Gather” pillow. The letters are made by gluing yarn to fabric with Fabric Fuse Quick Dry Fabric Adhesive making this a quick and easy project.
The 12″ x 16″ pillow cover was designed by Amy for Thermoweb.
You’ll also need the pattern found here.
